“Ajere” is a nine-track album, centrally themed around samples and field recordings that shape its narrative. In this album, I embark on a journey through personal memories, utilizing sounds I collected over years to foster a dialogue among sounds, stories, spaces, and voices from my past.

The album navigates through diverse memory landscapes, delving into the inner turmoil caused by the passage of time, with a recurring reference to my hometown, Napoli, and its culture, sounds, and vernacular. In our fast-paced world, where small moments are often overshadowed, I find samples an effective medium to capture and magnify these fleeting instances.

By extracting snippets of moments, their ambiance, characters, and thoughts, I dissected and reconfigured them into a sound collage, offering each track as an exploration of memory. This reassemblage not only conserves but also metamorphoses their intrinsic nature, presenting the album as a reflective auditory experience.
