“Door to Nowhere” is an interdisciplinary performance about dreams, combining movement, poetry, and music. This piece is a journey through various dreamworlds, inspired by the dreams of the performers. Maria Sartzetaki, the choreographer and writer wanted to create dimensions other than reality or merging with reality, by using imagination and dreams as the main point of departure. By translating concrete dream narratives to abstract, otherworldly environments, the piece aims at creating a mystical experience through movement, light, and sound, in which the audience can drift away from the mundane and enter the ethereal realm of dreams.

I collaborated with guitarist Piero Conte on the live score of this performance, which was performed in different locations in Rotterdam and Tilburg.
